Kangana Ranaut reacts to Annu Kapoor’s ‘Who is she?’ comment, ‘We tend to hate successful women… ‘

Kangana Ranaut was slapped by a CISF personnel at Chandigarh airport a few days ago. Annu Kapoor was asked to react to the same. And surprisingly he asked ‘Who is she?’

Recently, political accomplishments have brought her to the forefront of media attention. Kangana Ranaut was victorious from the Mandi seat in the most recent Lok Sabha elections of 2024. But following her huge victory, there was an incident at the Chandigarh airport where a CISF official smacked her. The lady CISF officer’s response was triggered by her remarks on Farmer’s protest. Annu Kapoor was recently asked to remark on the same during a press conference for the movie Hamare Baarah. But he responded in an unexpected way, enquiring, “Who is she?” He asked the journalist a follow-up question, saying, “First, tell me who she is.” She may be a major heroine, if you’re inquiring about her. There has been a robust response to it.

Being fairly active on social media, Kangana Ranaut shared the press conference footage from Annu Kapoor on her Instagram. She captioned it, saying that powerful women in particular are often hated by society for being successful. She asked, “Do you agree with Annu Kapoor ji that we despise successful women more than we hate attractive women and even more than we hate powerful women? Is that accurate?

The Mandi MP Kangana Ranaut has talked extensively about the CISF slap incident. Kangana Ranaut offered her view about why she got smacked in a previous article. “Strategically waiting for me to cross her, and in signature Khalistani style, quitely came from behind and hit my face without saying a word,” the woman stated of the CISF personnel. ‘Farmers Laws have been repealed and they don’t affect anybody anymore,’ she continued. ‘This was presumably her method of joining Khalistani bandwagon, which is garnering key political seats in Punjab.’
