Major cities including Lahore, Sialkot, Narowal, Gujranwala, Faisalabad, Rawalpindi, and Peshawar are expected to experience urban floods.

A medium-level flood with a net water flow of 93,500 cusecs has been reported in the River Kabul, according to data from the Federal Flood Division and other pertinent authorities. It is anticipated that the water flow levels in other important rivers would remain normal.

The Provincial Disaster Management Authorities (PDMAs) and local administrations have received advice from the NDMA to closely monitor the situation and put the appropriate safeguards in place to protect populations that are at danger.

It is recommended that the people keep themselves informed and follow local authorities’ directions. Additionally, for timely catastrophe notifications, instructions, and preventive actions, residents are recommended to download the “Pak NDMA Disaster Alert” mobile app from the NDMA.
