Bangladesh A resumed on 203-4 and added only 63 runs before getting dismissed for 266. Khurram Shahzad was the wrecker-in-chief, scoring 6-72 with blistering speed. Mohammad Ali scored 2–64.

Pakistan Shaheens needed quick runs and lost early wickets, but Omair Bin Yousuf (100*) and Mubasir Khan (95) kept the ship afloat. The two put on a key 170-run partnership, pushing the score above 400. Omair completed his 11th first-class century. The declaration came shortly after Omair’s ton, giving Bangladesh an implausible aim.
