Trump’s former doctor gives health update, calls out Wray as FBI affirms bullet struck former President

In a letter published on Friday, the former White House physician said that former President Trump is “rapidly recovering” from the gunshot that occurred on July 13 at a Pennsylvania campaign event and that there is “absolutely no evidence” that he was struck by “anything other than a bullet.”

Rep. Ronny Jackson, a Republican from Texas, stated, “I want to reassure the American people and the rest of the world, that President Trump is doing extremely well.” Jackson was reacting to evidence given earlier this week by FBI Director Christopher Wray.

“I have continued to monitor his health and well-being, along with his primary care physician, since the assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania, on the evening of July 13th,” stated Jackson, the former doctor of Trump.

FBI Director Christopher Wray speculated during the Congressional Hearing two days ago that it might be a bullet, glass, or shrapnel. He continued, “There is not the slightest indication that it was anything except a bullet. “As the hospital and I have both confirmed, Congress ought to update the record. It is incorrect and improper for Director Wray to make any other suggestions.”

Wray’s testimony contained no mention of glass. He continued, “With respect to former President Trump, there is some question about whether it was a bullet or shrapnel that hit his ear.”

The FBI sent a statement to Fox News Digital following the release of Jackson’s letter, stating, “What struck former President Trump in the ear was a bullet, whether whole or fragmented into smaller pieces, fired.”

“The would-be assassin fired multiple rounds from a relatively close distance using a high-powered rifle, with one bullet striking the former President, and now the Republican Nominee for President, in his right ear,” said Jackson.

“As a former White House Physician for 14 years, who served during three presidential administrations, and served as the appointed physician for both President Obama and President Trump, I fully understand the global significance of this attempt on the life of the former President and the current Republican Nominee for President,” Jackson continued.

“As such, I want to reassure the American people and the rest of the world, that President Trump is doing extremely well,” Jackson said. “He is healing quickly from his right ear bullet wound. I will remain at President Trump’s disposal to help him and his personal physician in any manner they see fit, and I will offer updates as needed and with the president’s approval.”

Jackson called Wray’s suggestion that Trump might not have been hit by a bullet “absolutely ridiculous” in an interview that aired on FOX Business’ “Kudlow” on Thursday.

“This degrades any level of credibility that this man may have had – after years of weaponizing the FBI and the DOJ against the president,” Jackson stated. “I looked it over and it was definitely a bullet. A gunshot trail was visible.”

Jackson applauded the establishment of a bipartisan House task committee to look into the attempted assassination of Trump as well.

“At this moment, we lack faith in the nation’s top law enforcement organization. Additionally, Jackson stated, “[Wray] had better have some proof of what he’s talking about if he’s going to come make assertions like that. “There was no fractured glass on the teleprompters or anything else.”

The FBI said on Thursday that finding out more about the 20-year-old reclusive would-be assassin Thomas Matthew Crooks’ motivation was its top priority, as reported by Fox News Digital.

“Since the day of the attack, the FBI has been consistent and clear that the shooting was an attempted assassination of former President Trump which resulted in his injury, as well as the death of a heroic father and the injuries of several other victims,” stated a spokeswoman.

“On Wednesday, FBI Director Wray testified before Congress in great detail regarding the agency’s investigation. The FBI is investing a great deal of resources to find out everything they can about the gunman and the circumstances surrounding his horrific crime.

According to Fox News Digital, the FBI’s Shooting Reconstruction Team was still analyzing collected bullet fragments and other evidence from the site.
