Drug dealer in prominent Islamabad university caught with stash, admits targeting students

A drug dealer has been arrested near a prominent university in Islamabad after he confessed to selling narcotics to students.

The arrest came during an ongoing campaign by the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) to combat drug distribution in educational institutions.

The ANF conducted a search at the university’s main entrance, discovering 1.2 kilos of hashish and 151 grams of narcotics stashed in the suspect’s vehicle’s seats.

During the interview, the accused acknowledged to targeting university students for drug sales.

The ANF has filed charges against the suspect under the Anti-Narcotics Act and is conducting additional investigations into the matter.

The force’s spokeswoman emphasized the rising threat presented by drug proliferation in educational institutions, emphasizing the importance of maintaining alert and taking severe measures to safeguard kids from drug misuse.

The ANF is devoted to its purpose of maintaining drug-free educational settings, with the goal of protecting young people and ensuring their future is unfettered by substance usage.
