FIA Interpol arrests wanted criminal from Saudi Arabia

ISLAMABAD: Federal Investigation Authority (FIA) Interpol has arrested a proclaimed offender from Saudi Arabia, ARY News reported.

According to the FIA spokeswoman, the accused named Jaro was wanted by Punjab police in a murder case that happened in 2022.

The statement stated that NCB Interpol issued a red notice for his arrest, which was handed over to Punjab police by FIA Islamabad Immigration.

Earlier, FIA Interpol apprehended Usman Sikander, a wanted criminal from Oman.

The culprit, named as Usman Sikander, was sought for many crimes, including murder, and had been on the run since 2022.

The FIA Interpol filed a Red Notice for his arrest, and he was eventually arrested in Oman and returned to Karachi.

Furthermore, the apprehended suspect would be sent over to the Punjab police for further investigation.

Prior to this, it was revealed that over the previous six months, the Federal Investigation Agency National Central Bureau (NCB) Interpol of Pakistan successfully detained 66 accused persons sought for major crimes in several nations.

These apprehended suspects were sought for murder, attempted murder, robbery, abduction, and corruption, and the FIA-NCB Interpol Pakistan issued red notices to aid in their capture.
