Israel hit by hypersonic ballistic missile

JERUSALEM: Houthis attacked central Israel with a hypersonic ballistic missile in response to Israeli strikes that killed over 41,000 Palestinians in Gaza in 11 months.

According to Yahya Sarea, the military spokesman for Yemen, Israel was attacked by the military using a brand-new hypersonic ballistic missile that covered 2,040 kilometers in less than 12 minutes.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared that the Houthi rebels will pay a “heavy price” for the strike, despite the Israeli military’s claim that the missile fell in an open field and no one was injured.

Photographers witnessed glass shards at a Modin train station, around 20 kilometers from Tel Aviv, and firefighters extinguishing a fire close to Lod following the attack.

From Yemen, the Houthis fired a surface-to-surface missile into our area. Netanyahu remarked, “They need to be aware by now that we impose severe consequences on anyone attempting to cause us damage.

With a warning that Israel “will not enjoy security unless it ceases its brutal aggression against our people in the Gaza Strip,” Hamas applauded the Houthis’ attack.

The Yemeni military spokesman said in a video statement that the Houthis had used a hypersonic ballistic missile to successfully attack an Israeli military station in the Jaffa area, which is close to Tel Aviv. He said that the Israeli enemy defenses had been unable to intercept the missile.

US failed to stop Israel, says Hamas

According to a top Hamas official, Israel is not being forced to make concessions by the US that would result in a ceasefire in the Gaza War.

Osama Hamdan told reporters in Istanbul, “The American administration does not exert sufficient or appropriate pressure on the Israeli side.” The Hamas official stated, “It is actually an attempt to defend the Israeli side’s avoidance of any responsibility.”

Despite losses incurred over the course of the more than 11-month conflict in Gaza, a top Hamas official stated that the Palestinian movement has the resources to combat Israel. “There is a strong likelihood that the resistance will persist,” Osama Hamdan stated in an interview held in Istanbul.

Israeli leaflets for Lebanon

Conversely, Israel released flyers over a border community in Lebanon, asking the people living there to evacuate.

A brigade had taken the initiative without “proper approval,” according to the Israeli military, which was revealed hours later.

It was the first time in the eleven months of cross-border fighting between Israel and Hezbollah over the Gaza War that Israeli officials had ordered inhabitants of south Lebanon to leave.

Netanyahu declared on Sunday that a shift in the balance of power along our northern border is necessary and that the current situation with Hezbollah will not last.
