Nationwide rain spell expected, cooler temperatures ahead

Early morning heavy rain has brought a refreshing change to Rawalpindi and Islamabad, making the weather pleasant as residents are enjoying the cooler temperatures and the fresh, crisp air.

It is worth noting that the Jamat-e-Islami (JI) is holding a sit-in at Liaquat Bagh in Rawalpindi.

Other locations, including as Jhelum, Gujjar Khan, and much of Azad Kashmir, are also seeing thunderous clouds and rain. The showers are delivering much-needed reprieve from the summer heat, but there is a risk of flooding in the rivers due to the strong rains.

Rain forecast in Punjab, KP, and Balochistan

The Meteorological Department of Punjab has forecast rain in several places throughout the state today. Similarly, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and Balochistan are anticipating rains. The rain is expected to lower temperatures and give relief from the heat.

Sindh

There is a potential of heavy rain in a few spots along Sindh’s coastline. Residents are warned to take care when the weather system passes through the area.

Lahore

The wind is blowing around Lahore, making the weather comfortable right now. A monsoon spell is predicted to begin today, bringing heavier rain and lower temperatures. Families are taking advantage of the nice weather by spending vacations and camping in parks to enjoy the outdoors.
