Pakistan, Indonesia conduct joint counter-terrorism exercise

At the National Counter Terrorism Centre (NCTC), Pabbi, on Monday, the Indonesian Armed Forces and the Pakistan Army jointly conducted an anti-terrorism military exercise called Elang Strike-II, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations.

According to the military’s media wing, this was the two nations’ first counterterrorism drill.

With a strong fraternal bond between the two forces, the week-long Exercise Elang Strike-II began on September 8, 2024 with the goal of mutually beneficial experience and training methodology sharing.

The Indonesian Defense Attaché, Colonel Budi Wirman, was among the guests who attended the closing ceremony, which was presided over by the General Officer Commanding the 17 Division, according to ISPR.

The drill was conducted with the utmost professionalism by the troops, it continued.
