The Navy’s ground-based air defense system demonstrated its accuracy and potency by hitting aerial targets during the live weapon firing. Vice Admiral Rabnawaz praised the soldiers’ efforts and expressed his pleasure with the Ground Based Air Defence (GBAD) system’s operational preparedness.

“The successful firing of these surface-to-air missiles reaffirms our combat readiness and our ability to respond effectively to any threat,” Vice Admiral Rabnawaz stated. The Pakistan Navy, he continued, is ready to protect the nation’s maritime frontiers and maintain regional security.

The Navy’s modern air defense capabilities were shown in real time in Karachi by the GBAD system, demonstrating the Navy’s resolve to being vigilant and prepared. The FN-6 surface-to-air missiles, which are renowned for their dependability and precision, were launched and effectively engaged their targeted aerial targets.

In his speech to the soldiers, Vice Admiral Rabnawaz expressed gratitude for their commitment and the flawless missile fire. In order to protect the country from any potential threats, he emphasized the significance of ongoing training and operational preparedness.

The Pakistan Navy not only guards Pakistan’s maritime boundaries but also actively promotes regional security. It demonstrated its commitment to upholding peace and security in the area in May by deploying the warship PNS ASLAT in the Indian Ocean to protect merchant ships.
