Saturday holidays abolished in Islamabad schools

ISLAMABAD: The Ministry of Education has announced the end of the Saturday holiday in educational institutions across Islamabad, ARY News reported on Thursday.

According to the official notification, the decision to abolish the Saturday holiday would take effect on August 10.

Saturdays will now be used to focus on poor pupils in a variety of courses.

Additionally, schools will plan a variety of extracurricular events for kids on this day.

The decision follows orders from the Secretary of Federal Education and Professional Training, which aim to improve the educational experience and give additional support to students.
