Three held for involvement in Hawala, Hundi

LAHORE: The Corporate Crime Circle of the Lahore Zone stormed the Bara Market and arrested two individuals involved in Hawala and Hundi crimes. The accused are named as Muhammad Usman and Muhammad Aftab.

According to the FIA Lahore spokesman, the suspects were apprehended with Rs3.09 million in cash, cheque books, and other papers.

In another search at Shah Alam Market, Rizwan Arshad was apprehended in connection with a Hawala/Hundi case. The FIA’s Lahore spokesman confirmed the discovery of Rs3 million in cash, receipts, and a mobile phone. Cases have been filed against the three suspects, and further investigations are underway, according to Sarfraz Khan Virk, Director of the FIA Lahore Zone. “Hawala/hundi offenders will not be shown any leniency,” the official stated.
