Women death in Multan: Forensic report reveals cause of demise

MULTAN: The forensic report of the 20-year-old woman – whose body was found on July 09, hanging from a ceiling fan in her in-laws’ house – came to light, revealing details of her death, ARY News reported on Sunday.

Police stated, “The forensic report confirmed that the woman committed suicide.”

The lady died by suffocating herself with a rope, according to a police spokeswoman who made this revelation in a statement after the woman’s body was examined for evidence of violence or injuries.

A spokeswoman stated, “A thorough examination of the body has been conducted during the investigation, with samples taken from various parts for detailed analysis; however, no fractures or any indications of assault were found.”

It is important to note that on July 9, the woman was discovered hanging from a ceiling fan at her in-law’s home.

In the meanwhile, the woman’s relatives leveled grave accusations against her husband, saying he had subjected her to cruel torture over a property dispute and that her abrupt death had been the result of murder rather than suicide.
